I can totally see how those two super pale pink lippies didn't work out! And I too have bought eyeshadows from revlon's matte line years back but luckily I picked up two cheap and am now still using the dark brown one for my brows! That's so damn nasty that the brush bleed so much when washed! I've had that happen and I was all shocked not expecting it to happen and I've had brushes that still smelled awful of chemicals even after multiple washes with really nice smelling soap! Great post! I've long gone thrown out the stuff I regretted buying!Sharlynn https://www.blogger.com/profile/16757611222415772717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3501277763592283146.post-5774636863415307212012-10-27T15:26:46.834+11:002012-10-27T15:26:46.834+11:00You made the right choice - $2 is still $2 wasted ...You made the right choice - $2 is still $2 wasted if you never use the product :p The Revlon foundation is still lying untouched since I wrote this ... about to be chucked next time I have a makeup spring cleaning. If I didn't have any other foundations, I might try to make it work, but it simply doesn't entice me to use it when I have so many better products. But at least I bought it to get something for free :psleepandwaterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09916100256685023244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3501277763592283146.post-44505543392060175952012-10-24T18:01:18.181+11:002012-10-24T18:01:18.181+11:00This post cracked me up! Applies on greasy but dries on to reveal dry flakes on my skin. Disaster. The 4 loose eyeshadows don't look too bad in terms of pigmentation, but it would be such a mess to use! I saw it in a bargain beauty stand for $2 too and nearly picked it up, glad I didn't!

http://reveriebelle.blogspot.com.auKarenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04062091504728665503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3501277763592283146.post-33646986605359679202012-09-01T09:03:43.155+10:002012-09-01T09:03:43.155+10:00I have the Revlon eyeshadow in Aubergine and I reg...I have the Revlon eyeshadow in Aubergine and I regret buying it cause the colour is so dull and flat! I don't mind their satin singles or their Naturally Glamorous CustomEyes palette. I have 3 of their ColorStay quads and I remember liking the matte dark brown in Coffee Bean.sleepandwaterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09916100256685023244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3501277763592283146.post-2142911809356222192012-08-30T00:46:15.582+10:002012-08-30T00:46:15.582+10:00I know, it really put me off and polluted my sink,...I know, it really put me off and polluted my sink, lol. That way, you can still buy something new, but only once you finish up something you already have. Luckily I don't buy that much skin care (or unluckily?), so I really need to make a conscious effort to use up my cosmetics, or simply throw them out and release some space before I buy anything new. But easier said than done :psleepandwaterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09916100256685023244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3501277763592283146.post-89326093347281221212012-08-30T00:28:18.846+10:002012-08-30T00:28:18.846+10:00Yeah, I think the grainy texture is from the rock ...Yeah, I think the grainy texture is from the rock candy they put at the top. It's kind of sunk into the product itself and mixed with it. The colour is quite pretty, I do agree with you - it's just a bit of a pain to work with, which is why I barely ever reach for it. Might try it with a gloss next time :)sleepandwaterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09916100256685023244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3501277763592283146.post-24067285003603695742012-08-29T23:43:55.408+10:002012-08-29T23:43:55.408+10:00Hey, congrats :) I actually like the idea of a gov...Hey, congrats :) I actually like the idea of a government job. I'm not really ambitious in the sense of wanting to ascend the corporate ladder, and a government grad job seems like it'd be more suited to me than where I am right now (which is in financial services, but more an admin capacity than anything else). I guess I could still apply for grad jobs, but I honestly just can't be bothered (which will eternally be my downfall). I sometimes wonder how things would've turned out had I not done my law degree. Like you, I did 5 years but I studied Science (majoring in Psychology) and Law, and I'm doing zilch with either of those degrees. I never felt an affinity with law in terms of wanting to pursue it vocationally, but I didn't mind studying it. I think it was probably the best subject for me in terms of study, because I had no idea what I wanted to do anyway and it was more like a glorified generalist degree that my parents could be satisfied with. But anyway, once again, congrats on the position and achieving your goal :) sleepandwaterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09916100256685023244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3501277763592283146.post-13059124838247674942012-08-29T18:17:22.487+10:002012-08-29T18:17:22.487+10:00Oh Im so guilty of this :)

I'm going to work for the ABS. A few years ago I already decided that law wasn't for me. However although I had already completed my commerce degree I thought I might as well as keep going for the last two years which would be pure law (my course of a combined degree is 5 years in total, where the first 3 years are a mix of commerce and law, and by the third year you finish all your commerce subjects). So I didn't apply for any paralegal positions or anything and I just had no idea what I wanted to do. working at ABS is kind of random for me (majored in accounting, and I have a law degree) but the pay is pretty neat and I like the position. :)Izzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00650414048626195265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3501277763592283146.post-62554575128966167222012-08-29T06:53:25.802+10:002012-08-29T06:53:25.802+10:00Great post, think we're all guilty of this!Great post, think we're all guilty of this!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3501277763592283146.post-63014963405270074652012-08-29T06:25:47.502+10:002012-08-29T06:25:47.502+10:00I buy so much makeup that I don't even use som...I buy so much makeup that I don't even use some of it.
