Black Diamonds

Following Save Me, here's another OPI glitter from the Nicki Minaj collection, Metallic 4 Life. This is a black jelly base loaded with tiny silver square and larger hex glitter. On the face of it, it doesn't seem all that unique or interesting, but what makes this polish stand out is the sheer density of the glitter which almost overrides the black it's suspended in. The contrasting dark base makes the saturation of shiny silver glitter even more pronounced. The effect after 3-4 coats reminds me of a starry night sky.
