Black Diamonds

Following Save Me, here's another OPI glitter from the Nicki Minaj collection, Metallic 4 Life. This is a black jelly base loaded with tiny silver square and larger hex glitter. On the face of it, it doesn't seem all that unique or interesting, but what makes this polish stand out is the sheer density of the glitter which almost overrides the black it's suspended in. The contrasting dark base makes the saturation of shiny silver glitter even more pronounced. The effect after 3-4 coats reminds me of a starry night sky. If you're looking for some added interest to your simple black polish, Metallic 4 Life has the bling angle covered.

  25. Mmmmm your nails are gorgeous! I love glitter nails but they're a pain in the butt to remove! =P

In regards to your comment on my blog, I just apply the serum straight over my night moisturiser. I'm guessing we could soak a dehydrated mask in the serum to reuse them! I think I'll give it a shot!

Since we're on the topic of a night moisturiser, do you have any to recommend? I'm in the hunt for a good intensive night moisturiser! =D

I remember when I got the mini set, after doing the swatches - the black one, this one didnt stand out to me at all. Now I have to dig it out some where and give it another try o_0 argh, yours looks so pretty here!

  36. Ooooh ahhh! This would make a great New Years Eve polish. Are the polishes from this collection cheaper than ones from the standard line?
